Affordably in the city center
We are located in the city center. From Kauppahotelli you can easily enjoy scenic Vesijärvi lake and the harbor area as well as jogging trails of Salpausselkä.
Lahti exhibition center and the Sibelius concert hall are easily reachable by foot, bike and car.
Walking and cycling
In the Salpausselkä Geopark offers beautiful jogging, walking and biking trails, which are only few hundred meters from the hotel. And don’t forget the skiing possibilities during winter time!
Store you bike in our secure garage, free of charge for hotel guests.
Vesijärvi harbor with its parks and restaurant ships is the summer time living room for both locals and tourists. From Kauppahotelli you can easily walk to enjoy the events of the harbor, coffee shops and restaurant ships.
By foot, bike or car?
Within walking distance you can quickly and easily reach all the sights and services of the city center. Leave your car in the parking lot at Kauppahotelli and enjoy the central location by foot. Lahti Train Station is also less than a kilometer from the hotel.
In five minutes you can reach the scenery of Salpausselkä by bicycle and in half an hour you are on any side of Lahti. For the night you can leave your bike in our private garage.
For those arriving by car, we always offer parking as part of the room rate (subject to availability).
